Our Story
Springdales is not just a preschool; it’s a manifestation of a visionary’s love and dedication. Founded by the late Mrs. Gurmeet Kalsi, Springdales was born out of a deep-seated passion for enriching young minds with a unique blend of cognitive learning and creativity.
With a background in teaching at St. Xavier’s School, Ranchi, Mrs. Kalsi recognized the need for a preschool that would nurture children’s holistic development from an early age. Thus, on 1st November 1983, amidst anticipation and excitement, Springdales, Ranchi came into existence.
Driven by her innate ability to simplify complex concepts and make learning enjoyable, Mrs. Kalsi personally conducted classes, laying the foundation for a journey of growth in mind, spirit, body, soul, and numbers.
Our Growth
From humble beginnings without even a name board outside, Springdales gradually gained recognition, fueled by word-of-mouth praise and blessings. As the number of students increased, so did the faculty, all sharing Mrs. Kalsi’s belief in providing a well-rounded education beyond mere academics.
Today, we proudly boast a sprawling 20,000 square feet campus, equipped with state-of-the-art kindergarten and daycare facilities. This expansion is not merely a milestone; it’s a testament to the spirit and vision that Mrs. Kalsi infused into her preschool—a spirit that continues to inspire and uplift countless hearts.
Vision
At Springdales School, Ranchi, We envision nurturing all children, to realize their full potential and become competent and strong individuals. We provide vital support during the settling-in period, fostering security and empowerment. Our balanced approach to learning emphasizes self-esteem, essential for preschool education. Our curriculum extends beyond academics to encompass life skills, leadership, and emotional growth. We prioritize overall personality development, critical thinking, and a tradition of excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.
Management
Springdales operates under the governance of the Manikaran Educational Trust, with the board of trustees entrusted with the management of the school’s financial affairs and empowered to make all policy and financial decisions. Meanwhile, the Principal collaborates with the Board of Trustees and academic staff to make informed decisions regarding the educational program, ensuring alignment with the school’s overarching objectives and standards. This collaborative approach fosters a dynamic and responsive educational environment that prioritizes the holistic development and success of its students.
